What we build
We don't do apps for the app store or websites for the sake of a website. We do the software that runs a business from the inside.
Internal tools
The job board, the scheduling grid, the approvals queue. Whatever is currently a spreadsheet with seven tabs and one person who understands it.
Customer portals
A place your customers can log in to see orders, invoices, documents, and status, so your team stops answering the same email forty times a week.
Integrations
Your accounting package, your CRM, your inventory system, and the vendor's API that was documented in 2014. We make them agree with each other.
Rescues
Software someone built for you years ago that nobody can change anymore. We read it, document it, stabilise it, and then decide with you whether to keep it.
What it's made of
Boring on purpose. Every choice here has been around long enough that another developer can pick it up.
- TypeScript
- for everything we write
- React
- for the parts people click on
- Node and Postgres
- for the parts they don't see
- Convex
- when the app needs to update live
- Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace
- because you already use one of them
- AWS or Azure
- whichever your compliance requires
How a project runs
- Week 1
We sit with the people who do the job today and write down what actually happens, not what the process document says.
- Week 2
A clickable draft. Wrong in useful ways. You correct it and we adjust the scope and price before any real code exists.
- Weeks 3 to 8
Building, with something new to try every Friday. Your team starts using it on real work before it's finished.
- After
Handover: source code, hosting accounts, and a document your next developer could start from. Then support, if you want it.
The rest of what we do
Software doesn't live on its own. Most clients also have us run the IT it depends on, and ask us before buying the next system.
Managed IT
Laptops, accounts, network, backups, and security for a fixed monthly fee per person. The same engineers who wrote your software answer the phone.
Consulting
Build or buy, which vendor, how to migrate, who to hire. A written plan with a price next to each option. We take no commission from anyone we recommend.
Send us the spreadsheet. We'll tell you what it wants to be.
A one-hour call, then a written scope with a fixed price. No charge for either.
